About The Collective…

As a child, The Collective's founder had a love for the heroes many know today, but because of his circumstances, he could not afford the comics they were featured in. His only access to such stories stemmed from his time spent in front of the television on Saturday mornings or when he received tattered trading cards as a gift because they no longer had a home in someone else's binder or bedroom. At the core of The Comic Collective, we believe that all children and young people, regardless of their financial status, have a right to experience the joy of comic books, and our goal is to provide opportunities to ensure such a deeply rich medium is accessible to all. 

The Comic Collective, Inc. provides access to free comic books, art supplies, educational experiences, and scholarships to promote and support creative expression in underserved communities.
